Spring into Surry Hills arts program

13 to 23 September 2018

Building up to and during the Festival, running 13 to 22 September 2018, we present the Spring into Surry Hills arts program. It’s bold and fun, celebrating founding of SHNC in the era of Flower Power (1960s /70s), spring growth, connecting communities, the design, textile industry and creative enterprises for which Surry Hills is famous.

Featuring works by over 50 artists, across diverse mediums – Spring into Surry Hills participating creatives: Esem Projects, Andy Leonard, Deep Sea Astronauts, Australian Institute of Music,  Camilla Lawson, Astra Howard, Karina Kreminski, Tim Ritchie, James O’Brien, Nico, Sydney Poetry, Cathy Bray, John Carey, Tug Dumley, Jenni Nixon, St Peters Church Choir, Kasane Low, Richard Briggs, Jamil Yamani, Vashti Hughes and Ross Johnston, Joe@The Pottery Shed, Spineless Wonders,  Priscilla Bourne, Todd Fuller, Tim Andrew, Longina Phillips Designs, Alli Sebastian Wolf, Alice Elliott-Pimm and Paul Peterson, Mandy Lights, Microflix Film Fesival, hi  The Surry Sock Puppets, Charmaine Seet and Seet Dancers, St George School of Fine Arts and The Very Famous Silver Beats.
